Welcome back, mga ka-Drives! In this blog, we’re diving into Part 2 of my epic journey from Luzon to Mindanao—specifically, the leg from Antipolo to Iligan City. If you’ve been following the vlog series, you already know this drive isn’t your typical weekend getaway. This is a multi-day road trip that spans the entire length of the Philippines, and I’m doing it all with my trusty Mitsubishi Mirage G4.

🚗 The Drive Continues

Starting in Antipolo, we journeyed through the scenic and sometimes challenging roads of Luzon, crossed into the Visayas via ferry, and pushed on toward Mindanao. This leg was filled with varied terrain, multiple refueling stops, and plenty of memorable moments on the road. Each province brought something different—from road conditions to cultural vibes—and that’s what makes this drive so unique.

One of the highlights of this part of the journey was the ferry transfer. If you’ve never done a roll-on/roll-off (RORO) experience with your car, this vlog gives you a front-row seat. It’s not just about driving; it’s about understanding the travel logistics involved in crossing regions by land and sea.

The Mirage G4 may be a compact car, but it continues to surprise me with its fuel efficiency and comfort over long distances. Even after hours on the road, it held up impressively well, proving that with the right mindset and preparation, any car can be road-trip ready.

It’s nimble on tight provincial roads and comfortable enough for long stretches. In short, sulit na sulit siya for budget-conscious travelers.
